LMC Book Fair… Thank you to everyone that shopped at the book fair. Welch will receive over $1,500 in profits to purchase books for the school. Families are still welcome to shop online at http://www.scholastic.com/bf/welchelementaryschool7— through December 11. The LMC was also busy hosting an author visit on Monday for K-2. If you still would like to purchase a book by author Henry Cole, we still have a few books available. Send in the following form to the LMC with a check made out to Welch Elementary (or exact change) by Friday, December 14: http://bit.ly/2PiiU2I. Lastly, the Naperville Public Library came to introduce their Winter Reading program to Grades 3-5. Information about the program can be found at the following link: https://www.naperville-lib.org/winter-reading-program.

Thank you… A HUGE thank you to Roxana Dubash, who spent Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon at Welch working with our students on an Hour of Code! The students and staff loved it and learned so much!
