DAY OF PLAY…On Friday, February 14th, Welch Elementary Students will be participating in a Day of Play. This day was created to celebrate how important playing is to a child’s development and well being. In schools we have so much to teach children in one year that playing often gets pushed to the side. All Welch staff and students will be spending the day playing, problem solving, and using 21st century skills. We are excited for this amazing day of play!

AIMSWEB+...In January, Indian Prairie Community Unit School District 204 administered the aimswebPlus benchmark assessments to students in kindergarten
through eighth grade. These brief Illinois Learning Standards aligned assessments evaluate academic performance and growth in the areas of early literacy/reading and early numeracy/mathematics. These benchmark assessments are administered again in May. The purpose of these assessments is to evaluate student academic growth toward end of year expectations. These assessment results are used by teachers and administrators to assist with instructional planning and differentiation at the grade, classroom and student level. Student scores will be available in HAC on Friday, February 14th. Please see link below for more information and directions on accessing your student’s scores.
