2nd Grade Community Field Trip

Second grade classes took a field trip to downtown Naperville of October 16. The students visited local businesses, saw firsthand how a community works to serve the needs of its residents, and how citizens interact with one another. At Costello Jewelry the students enjoyed the precious rocks and looking at their birthstones through an eyepiece. Trying out new chopsticks at Mongolian Barbeque was a hit. Thank you to Costello Jewelry, Ryan Hill Realty, City Hall, Naperville Park District, Barnes and Noble, Amber Waves, U.S. Bank, Henczel’s Barber Shop, Jimmy’s Grill, Penzey’s Spice, BD’s Mongolian Barbeque, Wayfarer Candles, Two Bostons, and Russell’s Dry Cleaners for opening their doors to Welch students.
