REPORT CARDS POSTED…Report cards will be posted on Home Access on Friday, January 10 AFTER 4:00. If you do not have your Home Access Login information, please call Welch’s main office before January 10. (630.428.7200). We highly encourage you to log in and review your child’s report card. Please partner with us as we provide information on your child’s progress. Thank you in advance.
WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK…Parents across Illinois once again have an opportunity to participate in the annual statewide Illinois 5Essentials Survey. This survey is designed to generate a detailed picture of your child’s school as it relates to the important elements of school effectiveness.
On behalf of the Illinois State Board of Education, the Illinois 5Essentials Survey is administered online by the University of Chicago.All survey responses will be kept confidential. The state will provide survey results for individual schools only if a school has at least 20 percent of parents take the survey. Welch currently has a response rate of 9%.
If you have children attending more than one school, we ask that you complete the survey for each school.

The Illinois 5Essentials Survey identifies five indicators that can lead to important student outcomes, including test score gains. Research

INCOMING SMS 6TH GRADE INFORMATIONAL NIGHT FOR PARENTS...Scullen will host an information night for the parents of incoming 6th graders to Scullen, for the 2020-2021 school year. Scheduling choices for electives will be the topic. The intended audience is for parents new to the elective program at the middle school level.
This event will happen on Tuesday, January 14th from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Scullen Commons. We hope to see you there!
